About the Role:
My customer is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in the feasibility, planning, design, management, tendering, and contract administration of land development and civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the technical director, this role would suit someone who can work independently but in close co-operation with a team of engineers, planners, and surveyors.
The role is part of a wider tight-knit team that also includes Wellington, Queenstown and Tauranga based staff, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of nationwide projects.
Responsibilities include the management of a range of public and private sector projects, including liaison and relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders including staff, clients, contractors, specialists, and council staff.
Desirable to be a chartered professional engineer (CPEng)
10+ years of experience in land development and civil infrastructure projects.
Working knowledge and experience of NZ3910 conditions and contract.
Knowledge and experience in the design process.
Have proven experience leading and mentoring a team of technical professionals.
Have great communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work successfully in a dynamic and energetic environment.
