Power Electronics Manager

Today, their main product is a cutting-edge microinverter that works with virtually every solar panel made, and when paired with their award-winning smart battery technology, it results in one of the best performing clean energy systems worldwide.

Currently, we are looking to attract a talented and visionary individual for the role of Power Electronics Manager for the microinverter business unit.

Key duties for this role may include:
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the hardware products in development through the whole product life cycle
  • Lead and expand a team of highly experienced hardware engineers developing cutting-edge power electronics products.
  • Manage communication to stakeholders in the company.
  • Technically manage active projects and deliverables.
  • Plan for future projects as well as sustain existing products.
  • Be involved in the hiring process, people management, career development, and coaching.
  • Create and maintain best practices in the team to build a high-performance team with cutting-edge expertise.

Job requirements:
Ideal attributes for this role:
  • Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer or related area.
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years of technical project and people management.
  • Experience in developing electronic products from the concept to market launch and mass production.
  • Experience in developing and delivering power electronics products.
  • Experience in digital hardware design including interfacing MCUs, PSUs.
  • Deep understanding of hardware manufacturing.
  • Experience with hardware development meeting regulatory requirements standards and functional safety requirements.
  • Experience with the use of JIRA , Confluence, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong people management skills. hands-on experience with appraisal and promotion process.
